Shelby Downing stops in to see Big D and Bubba!
Nashville, TN - While in town for the CMA Music Festival,
Shelby Downing
stopped by the WSIX studios to say hello to Big D and Bubba.
Big D and Bubba are broadcast on KNUE in
Shelby's hometown of Longview, TX.
This was Shelby's first CMA Music Festival; she spent her time signing autographs in
Nashville's Convention Center.
She even got to celebrate her 14th birthday with the fans on Sunday, June 11th.
Shelby's current single, "Listen To Your Heart" off of her latest CD titled
"Nothing Else To Do"
has been getting rave reviews from radio stations across the world.

You're a Hero to Me.....Makes Big Hit in Iraq
In November 2005 a copy of "You're a Hero To Me" was sent to a US Marine in Iraq, When he played it for his friends they loved it and wanted a copy for them self. He begain to make copies and pass them around, now "You're a Hero to Me" is the most wanted song in Iraq. "When I heard the song it made me proud to know that people like Shelby believe in us and support us in what we are doing over hear. I love the song and think it is great!........Sgt. Shelby Downing Rocks Marshall, Texas
Saturday night's performance in downtown Marshall was nothing less than awsome. When Shelby began to sing the place was packed, with standing room only. The music was piped out into the streets, where people begin to gather. As Shelby performed, singing songs from her new CD "Nothing Else To Do" people began to crowd around filling the streets trying to get a glimpse of this counrty performer. Shelby Downing delivered a perfect performance, with the talent she has and the vocal quality, there is no doudt that Shelby Downing will be the next counrty star.
